Eugene was a determine man. He was passionate about the Kingdom of God and devoted to the Church. He showed this in many ways.
First he starts back uping and prophesy the society at the age of 20.
Then at 1826, Eugene founded Oblates of bloody shame Immaculate with Pope Leo XII’s approval. His custody began working through Switzerland, England and Ireland.
Later Eugene willingly, despite of having few men, direct them out to Canada, United States of America, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Lesotho.
Before Eugene’s death, all over 400 men had spread to ten countries throughout the world.
now the Oblates are in 68 different countries.

Eugene de Mazenod died on twenty-first May 1861 and his tomb is located in the chapel of Marseilles’ cathedral. When he died his heart was removed and preserved. His heart was placed in a reliquary and taken to the United States in 1964.

Because of Eugene’s efforts, he was pick up at Sunday 19th October 1975 by Pope capital of Minnesota IV.



On 3rd December 1995, he was proclaimed a saint by Pope John Paul II.
